Anti Corrosion - Water Miscible Fluids

WEDOLIT AW 5700 is a water-soluble passivating agent for steel, which is also suitable for ultrasonic and hydro testing systems.

WEDOLiT AW 5801 is a mildly alkaline, sprayable corrosion protection emulsion containing mineral oil, free of boron compounds, suitable for the temporary corrosion protection of workpieces made of steel, iron and cast iron materials.

• The concentrate forms an opaque solution when diluted with water
• Used as a 3 - 6% aqueous solution for the temporary corrosion protection of steel or steel alloys (e.g. for car body parts)
• The applied protective film remains fully water-soluble

WEDOLiT AW 5811 is a water-soluble passivating agent for steel, which is used as an aqueous solution for a short-term corrosion protection. The product contains no oily or fatty substances and is free of sodium nitrite. Furthermore, it contains a copper and brass inhibitor (for the protection of fittings, etc.).

• Almost foam free
• Low electric conductivity
• While the protecting film remains water soluble, the product is suitable as a short-term corrosion protection of steel (covered storage)
• Good skin compatibility

WEDOLiT AW 7101 is a mineral oil-containing, water miscible corrosion protection fluid. The water-mixed emulsion is stable to boiling and electrolytes for a short time. Emulsifiers, inhibitors and high-pressure additives are combined to be used for different applications in both metalworking and corrosion protection with just one product.

Due to its low foam formation at high temperatures, WEDOLiT AW 7101 is also suitable for use as a rinsing emulsion in the production of fixed pipes. The pipes must be dried before packing to avoid condensation water corrosion

WEDOLiT K 102 is a mildly alkaline, sprayable, mineral oil containing corrosion protection emulsion, free of boron compounds and formaldehyde releasers, suitable for temporary corrosion protection of workpieces made of steel, ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

• The product forms a stable emulsion, regardless of the concentration
• Due to the electrolyte and temperature stability, an application in a heated bath is possible (recommended temperature 60 - 80°C)
• Even at high temperatures the product is stable against contaminations (e.g. sodium sulfonates or phosphates)
• Easily removable with solvents or alkaline industrial cleaners
• For corrosion protection it´s important that treated parts are completely dry before packaging
• Depending on the concentration, a slightly noticeable film is formed on the metal surface
• Very good compatibility with VCI foils
• Outstanding material compatibility (even at higher concentration)
