Prior to the trial, Resolute Precision Manufacturing relied on Hangsterfer's Hard Cut NG^® as their coolant. While the product performed adequately, the company faced significant challenges with coolant consumption and maintenance:

The product was introduced through a controlled two-month trial across multiple machines. TRIM OV2200 offered superior lubricity, thermal stability, and cleaner performance compared to the previous oil. Its advanced formulation helped reduce fluid waste, extend oil life, and improve overall machine efficiency—delivering measurable operational and cost-saving benefits for Resolute Precision Manufacturing.

The results of the trial were both immediate and impactful. Resolute Precision Manufacturing experienced a 65% reduction in oil usage, significantly lowering fluid consumption and associated costs. In addition to the cost savings, the company reported improved oil longevity, leading to fewer fluid changes and less downtime. Operators also noted cleaner machines and improved machining performance, particularly in demanding Swiss turning operations. These results validated TRIM OV2200 as a more efficient and reliable solution, prompting the company to convert all Swiss lathes to the new fluid and adopt Master Fluid Solutions’ preventive maintenance program for sustained performance.
