TRIM® TC 108

Metalworking Fluid Defoamer

Application Guidelines

  • Start by adding 1 to 3 ounces of TC 108 per 100 gallons of solution (8 to 24 ml per 100 liters) to lower foam (100-200 ppm in tank side usage). You may find that using less than this will be effective in your system.
  • Shake or stir well before adding. For best results, premix TC 108 in a separate container with working solution until it is water-thin. This mixture should be added just up-stream from the foam.
  • The maximum amount of TC 108 in the system should not exceed 16 ounces per one hundred gallons (128 ml per 100 liters) of metalworking fluid. Using too much TC 108 can cause foam and/or form a residue on the machine, parts, or tools.
  • Spraying premixed TC 108 directly onto the foam will also knock it down quickly.
  • Do not freeze or store above 115°F (46°C).
  • For additional product application information, including performance optimization, please contact your Master Fluid Solutions' Authorized Distributor at https://www.masterfluids.com/in/en-in/distributors/index.php, your District Sales Manager, or email us at [email protected].
