They previously used inexpensive, powdered detergent-based solutions to clean those surfaces. However, they failed to fully remove 100% of the soil.

The detergent powder did not dissolve well in water, calling for more product than necessary to achieve the recommended concentration. Plus, cleaning required significant physical exertion — workers were forced to manually scrub machine walls to remove soil build-up. After, they had to wash surfaces again to remove detergent residue, wasting more time, energy, and water. The sodium sulfate in the chemical frequently created problems with the local water treatment systems, too.

The customer switched to Master STAGES™ CLEAN AMO™, a water-soluble cleaner formulated with natural solvents designed for maximum versatility without sacrificing oil removal ability. Its capacity for wide application types (including spray bottles, mop buckets, and immersion washers) makes it the ideal solution for the customer’s varied cleaning needs. In addition, it’s safe for most metal types, won’t peel or stain paint, and is compatible with floor epoxy.

With CLEAN AMO, the customer consolidated their cleaning solutions into a single product.

At 2 percent concentration, AMO achieved better results for floor cleaning than the previous solution - and in less time with less effort. At 5 percent concentration, the Master Fluid Solutions cleaning formula removed all the dirt and oil from their machine’s grippers without the need for scrubbing or additional manual labor. This allowed workers to allocate more time and energy to other tasks.
