TRIM™ DRIVE CF2P

High-performance for Hard Disk Drives

TRIM™ DRIVE CF2P is a specialized, chlorine-free, moderate-duty coolant formulated to meet the high-precision machining and stringent chemical restrictions of the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) industry. It has very good wetting and lubricity giving excellent surface finishes. Its ease of wash-ability makes DRIVE CF2P an excellent choice for HDD components manufacturers. TRIM DRIVE CF2P will run in high-pressure situations with little to no foam.

  • In addition to aluminum alloy, it is also suitable for a wide range of materials including steels and stainless steels
  • Low foam even in high-pressure operations without the use of silicone antifoam
  • Good hydrodynamic lubrication to perform reaming and threading applications
  • Excellent anti-weld properties without the use of either chlorinated or sulfurized EP additives
  • Keep machines very clean while leaving a fluid, oily residue for ease of cleaning and reduced machine maintenance costs
